The truth of the matter is, poke has been a Hawaiian tradition for thousands of years. At Poki Bowl, we’ve taken the traditional island dish and infused our Asian touch to bring it to the mainland. For us, it’s all about the food. Fast, fresh, and healthy.
Where We Come From
In 2015, the very first Poki Bowl location was established in San Jose, California off of Almaden Expressway. Our customers would travel long distances, sometimes from other states, to taste our poke. To meet the high demand, in just two years we opened five more corporate owned locations across California. Now, we continue to grow even more! We can’t do it alone and now invite you, our customers, our biggest fans, to join our Poki Bowl family.

The truth about Poki Bowl is that nothing is behind the scenes! We are upfront about everything we do, just like when we prepare our food right in front of our customers. We are open about where our fish and ingredients come from because we know those facts are important to our customers. Hidden Gem that we just heard opened recently. Walking in staff was beyond friendly and didn't rush us at all. Food was delicious and I went back for seconds for the teriyaki musubi and can drink for $5 and just had an overall great experience!

Visited this veteran owned business last night. The food was amazing. I had the medium bowl that came with three protein items - my choices were ahi tuna, yellow tail, and octopus on a generous service of brown rice. In fact, they loaded so much I asked to take some of the rice out :). I went with medium heat as I don't like things too spicy. There was many toppings to choose from, but I kept mine simple with a handful of just the green onions. The flavor was fantastic. This is as close to Hawaiian poke that you'll get in San Antonio. I ended my meal with an ice cream sandwich. If you're vet, swing buy and support a local veteran family that owns this business. They also give military discount so don't be shy and show them your ID card.
